The Art of Vincent van Gogh

The five and a half years that Vincent spent in the first phase of his artwork were from 1880-1886. This phase includes work done while he studied in Holland and Belgium. These works were drawings of peasants and landscapes as well as oil paintings done with the traditional palette of earth colors.
